Cardiology
Several decades of experience with both routine and complex problems affecting the cardiovascular system.
James Klepper, MD, is triple board certified in nuclear medicine, cardiology, and internal medicine, and has practiced in Huntington, New York since 1989.
I started my practice of medicine and cardiology in Huntington, NY in 1989 and have remained in Huntington for my entire career. I truly feel Huntington is a great place to reside in with its beauty, culture, parks, excellent schools, recreational facilities, music and of course great food. I have never had any desire to leave.
I realize that many people wish they had pursued a different career in their life but I have never regretted my choice. My path has been a fulfilling one and it continues to be so. From an intellectual standpoint I am always striving to learn more and continue to stay current in my field. I am never bored and remain humbled regarding the breadth of medical knowledge that exists. I have evolved as a physician along with the exponential expansion of this medical knowledge. I am a big believer in the “sound body, sound mind” approach to life and I practice what I preach.
But the pleasure I have derived during my career would not have been realized without the relationships I have developed with my patients. Getting to know them personally is key to my gratification.
This of course leads to mutual trust which allows the relationship to continue to flourish. My success comes with their satisfaction.
The practice of medicine is a journey and my journey continues with vigor and appreciation. I feel fortunate and blessed with this ongoing fulfillment and hope that it continues for many years to come.
