Commitment

Accessibility

Everyone should be able to find a doctor and book an appointment. If this website gets in your way, tell us and we will fix it.

What we are aiming for

We build this site to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, which is the standard most widely used for public websites. We treat that as an ongoing effort rather than a box that has been ticked — parts of the site may not yet meet it, and we would rather hear about those than claim otherwise.

What is built in

  • The whole site can be operated with a keyboard, and the element you are on is always visibly outlined.
  • A "skip to content" link appears as soon as you start tabbing, so you can jump past the menu.
  • Text is sized in relative units, so it responds when you zoom or enlarge type in your browser.
  • Images carry text descriptions, and decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers rather than read aloud as noise.
  • Menus, tabs and carousels announce their state to assistive technology.
  • If your device is set to reduce motion, animations switch themselves off.

If something does not work

Please tell us. Describe the page and what happened, and we will look into it and get back to you. If a part of the site is blocking you, we will also give you the information another way — over the phone, or on paper at the office.

You will never need to use this website to become a patient. Calling the office works just as well.
